Modbus Commands

8-byte hex frames the API hands out to devices. The device polls GET /api/public/modbus/command and POSTs the meter response back.

Inverter poll commands

Seeds 9 single 8-byte commands — one per inverter (slaves 1…9), each a plain FC04 read of registers 5003-5038 (36 registers: yield, temp, MPPT, AC V/I, power, PF, frequency, state in one frame). The server loops through them round-robin, advancing to the next inverter as soon as a reply is posted, then back to the first. Data decodes per inverter on the Inverters page. This removes all other (non-discovery) commands, including the logger poll.
